Sick

Ugh, I hate being sick. This is day 3 of this virus or whatever it is that is invading my body.  It's been a long time since I've felt this ill and I have to say I'm not liking it at all. It's preventing me from doing the things that I need to do.  My aunt is in the hospital for a tumor they found on her colon and she had surgery and started chemotherapy yesterday, but I was unable to visit her at the hospital because you can't be around someone with a weak immune system when you're sick.  It's really bothering me that I can't be there for her.  Another thing is that it's little B's funeral today at 6pm and I won't be able to go.  I'll see her one last time at the viewing this afternoon, but I don't want to get anyone sick.  I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that I won't ever see her smile again in this lifetime. Maybe it's for the best that I don't go, because it's hard to handle funerals and I've been to too many to count over the last 3 years.  It's weird how life is...you're here one minute and gone the next. It's terrifying actually.

"Lord, make me a rainbow...I'll shine down on my mother. She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors. Life ain't always what you think it ought to be..ain't even gray, but she buries her baby. The sharp knife, of a short life..."
I'll remember you always my little bunny....

Goodbye 2013...Hello 2014

I have been so horrible about blogging this year, but I thought that it would only be right for me to end the year here as I did last year.  Overall 2013 has been good, bad, challenging and everything in between. I discovered things about myself that I like and also things that I don't like that much.  I learned that I'm more caring than I give myself credit for, no matter how much of a hard tough exterior I pretend I have...I really do care about people in general.  I also learned that there are some friends that you just need to let go, and it's okay to be sad about it, but never regret the decision you've made. Some people are only put into your life for a reason or a season. They are there to teach you the lesson you need to be taught and then move on, and hopefully be replaced by the people that are going to stay in your life for a lifetime.  I noticed that I don't hang out with my friends a lot anymore and I don't know if that has something to do with a change in our relationships or the fact that we're all adults with working lives and some of us have children.  The true meaning of friendship for me is not having to talk to the person every day, but when you do talk you pick up where you left off as if nothing ever changed.

It wouldn't be right for me not to include my online life in this post. I have met some of the best people online. The little brother's and sister's that I wish I had.  It's funny how a common interest can cultivate bonds so strong and opens the door to discovering more about another person. These relationships are just as important to me as the relationships that I care for in my day to day life. They take effort and require the same care as any other relationship.  You know who you are and I don't think I need to mention any names, I just want you all to know that I truly value all of you being a part of my life and I know that whenever I need to vent, bitch or cry you are all willing to lend a ear.  I hope that you all know that I would do the same for you. If ever you're in need of advice or just need someone to listen, I'll always be here for you all. Here's to hoping that we learn more about each other and grow closer in 2014.  I wish you all a very happy and blessed New Year.

2012...The End(T-list) Edition

Nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance; they make the latitudes and longitudes.

-- Henry David Thoreau

My Twitter friends, I don't know what I would do without ya'll. For some of us, this is the 2nd or 3rd New Year for us, and even if it is our 1st...I want to let you all know that I value each and every one of you. You make my life brighter. Some of you are like the little sister's that I wish I had.

Emzi- You are truly fabulous. It's been a couple years since i've met you. I value our friendship and it's been so nice getting to know you. I hope that in 2013 we continue to talk and get to know each other. :) Have a Happy New Year! You'll always be one of my favorite "mean girl's"! lol

Emilie- Wow, it's been a while since we've met. The girl who shares my hate for people! lol You are one of the funniest girls I know, and I hope you'll always stay that way(even when you get OLD!) lol. I hope that we'll continue to be friends in the coming year and beyond that. Have a Happy New Year!

Saph- My other favorite "mean girl". It hasn't been that long since we've met, but I don't think I know anyone as awesome as you are. I love how you keep it real and say shit how it is. There isn't enough people in the world like us! I look forward to talking with you more and getting to know you more in 2013! Happy New Year. Stay safe, healthy, happy and awesome!

Marie- I can't remember how long we've known each other, but we've gone through 3 fandom's together. I love you, and one of the greatest experiences was getting the chance to meet you! You are truly one of the sweetest girl's I know, and I hope we have more chances in the future to meet! Happy New Year!

Hyejin- It has been such a pleasure getting to know you. You have such a fun and outgoing personality and I hope that never changes! I hope that we continue to be friends in 2013 and beyond that. Let's keep watching Degrassi! lol...I hope 2013 brings you much happiness and health!

Hyewon- We should talk more! :) I'm glad to have met you, and I can sincerely say that I think that you are one of the sweetest people ever. I hope that we'll get to know each other better! Happy New Year and I hope 2013 is amazing for you!

To anyone that I might have missed, it doesn't mean that I don't like you...it just means that my fingers are tired! LMAO. I love you all, and have a blessed and happy New Year!
