Recycled Music?

I don't agree with it, I don't like it, I can't stand it, it makes my skin crawl, it's irritating.....it's not cute.

Yes, that is really how I feel. I love kpop and jpop, I really do, but the thing that irritates me to NO end is when these record labels/companies decide that it's a good idea to take Korean songs and recycle them and do a Japanese version.....for what? Why? I don't think it's asking too much for an original song if you're going to venture into the Japanese market. I'm sure I'm just speaking for myself, because there are bound to be herds of you out there that enjoy it, but since this is my blog, I can say what I want. I don't believe that it makes me less of a fan or better than any other fan's. It's just my opinion. Either you love it or hate it.....

  1. I AGREE WITH CHUUUU ♥
In a way I find it's disrespectful towards this new fanbase to not have something more ~special~ to offer them. I mean yes you had success with /this song/ in (say) Korea, BUT THE JAPANESE FANS ALREADY KNOW IT SO WHY REMAKE IT AND SPOIL ALL THE PROMOTION YOU DID WITH IT FIRST.
    I too find it irritating.

I guess it's "normal" to debut in a new market with a recycled song because of the language barrier, because then the lyrics are the only thing you REALLY need to focus on, but you can't go like that forever omg
really that's the only argument I can find that is for it omg

    1. It just seems so wrong on so many different levels. I think the least any record label could do is provide them with an original song only for the Japanese market. Well, there's nothing we can do about it, but I won't support it with my money, that's for sure! lol
